RCB acronym as Royal Challengers Bangalore is based in Bangalore and owned by United Spirits and named once the company’s liquor brand Royal Challenge, is a franchise cricket team based in Bangalore, Karnataka, that plays within the Indian Premier League (IPL).The team has contended its home matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium since its beginning.

Being one of the most favourite franchises in Indian Premier League since the inaugural edition, Royal Chellengers Bangalore are yet to win an IPL title to their name. Since 2011 the team has been captained by Indian skipper Virat Kohli and despite the large names in the squad, the team has twice finished as the bottom-ranked side in 2017 and 2019 editions and also 6th in the points table in the 2018 season, and 7th in 2014 season.between 2009 and 2016 the team has crowned  runners-up on three occasions.

They gained the tag of “ underachievers” because of  their lack of success over the years despite the presence of various notable players. The team holds the records of both the very best and also the lowest totals in the IPL – 263/5 and 49 respectively.

RCB will be directed by India captain Virat Kohli, the team has recently released its new logo and jersey, boasts of some of the best T20 players and fans would expect an improved show from their favourite stars this year.On 14 February RCB revealed their new logo for the team featuring a lion.

The RCB has been to tried to win  the IPL title in the 2009, 2011 and 2016 seasons but they failed to win the final all 3 times and were runners up. The team will continue to have Shivam Dube , who is a all-rounder and made his India debut last year and is one of the X-factors in the side. However the top-order is favoured with Aaron Finch, Kohli and de Villiers.Navdeep Saini, Dale Steyn are the solid pace-attackers of the RCB team.Kane Richardson has exit the team due to personal reasons and leg spinner Adam Zampa will take his place.

It would be a sink or swim season for the IPL ‘underachievers’ and their real chance to do something.ViratKohli will continue to be  the captain of the RCB side and the team will also continue to enjoy the services of retired South African international palyers AB de Villiers and Dale Steyn.

RCB went on to buy 8 players and paid a hefty 10 crores for South Africa’s Chris Morris in the IPL 2020 auctions, held in Kolkata. The other 7 players include: Aaron Finch, Joshua Phillipe, Kane Richardson, Pavan Deshpande, Dale Steyn, Shahbaz Ahmed, Isuru Udana.

RCB has released their players Before the start of 2020 IPL: Akshdeep Nath, Colin de Grandhomme, Dale Steyn, Heinrich Klassen, Himmat Singh, Kulwant Khejroliya, Marcus Stoinis, Milind Kumar, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Prayas Ray Barman, Shimron Hetmyer, Tim Southee. During the IPL auction, they added Aaron Finch (4.4 crore), Chris Morris (10 crore), Joshua Philippe (20 lakh), Kane Richardson (4 crore), Pavan Deshpande (20 lakh), Dale Steyn (2 crore), Shahbaz Ahamad (20 lakh), Isuru Udana (50 lakh).

IPL 2020 Auctions:

During the auction, which was held on December 19 last year,it seemed like the Royal Challengers top-brass had not come prepared, as they were trying to sign  new players. The franchise had released 11 players ahead of the auctionso they had a full chance to make it big at the auctions but, instead, they poured all their money into hiring Chris Morris and Australia’s limited-overs captain Aaron Finch.

With Sheldon Cottrell in the line-up as well as great bowling in the form of Mohammed Shami, Kings XI Punjab can go the entire distance in IPL 2020.

The Indian government relaxed nation-wide restrictions on sports events On 17 May 2020,

allowing events to take place behind closed doors On 24 May. relaxoOften relying on some of its experienced players the team over the years has not let its core structure be changed much, while the buzz around for most other teams being on ‘bringing in young talent’.

Ahead of the player auctions for IPL 2020 The Chennai Super Kings had retained the core of their players. Two major purchases that they went ahead with this year were to pick Piyush Chawla, who had previously been fairly successful at the Kolkata Knight Riders, and to get the highly-talented English all-rounder in Sam Curran.

Piyush Chawla has picked up 150 IPL wickets, and his spin could be a great option for the slow tracks that are often found in the UAE.Sam Curran, who has done quite well for England in the short duration that he has been a part of their squad in all three formats of the game could be a fantastic all-rounder option.

Without trading any player in 2020, The Chennai Super Kings retained 19 players and released five players. Suresh Raina has returned to India On 29 August 2020 due to his personal reasons and will miss whole IPL 2020.  Harbhajan Singh pulls out the tournament citing personal reasons On 4 September.

“In the auction 2020, CSK got what they wanted” source by ESPNcricinfo. Sam Curran and Josh Hazlewood for the Chennai pitch is the wise selection. Although some may say that Piyush Chawla was not included in the team, the franchise may have wanted more experience in the team and there would have been a better balance of Chawla as an alternative to Imran Tahir. The team does not have much problem Except for the lack of a left-arm fast bowler

I proudly say, she is my mother and a teacher to cherish for my lifetime. She never blamed me when I couldn’t get expected results. Instead, she tells me to stay consistent and put more effort, the same that she tells her students. It is cent percent true in every case that my dreams are big and my efforts are far less and I’m trying to give my fullest efforts to achieve my goals holding my mother’s words.
