The team is currently being captained by David Warner and coached by Trevor Bayliss with Brad Haddin as assistant coach, Muttiah Muralitharan as bowling coach and VVS Laxman as mentor.

Winning the IPL once and qualified for the playoffs five times, Sunrisers Hyderabad retained most of its squad including youngsters Abhishek Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed, T Natarajan, Sandeep Sharma. Among the key buys are Priyam Garg and Mitchell Marsh.

In the last two seasons, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has been a team to beat. In the previous season The Orange Army franchise did exceedingly well as they made it to the playoffs. David Warner, who was the leading run-scorer of the tournament last year The ‘Orange Army’ must be buoyed with the form of their batting mainstay. .he team also boasts of several match-winners.

Being a sensational opening pair,Warner and Bairstow have forgedwith ,and in-form Manish Pandey to bolster the middle order, the side has a great chance to go all the way. The biggest strength of the team is their bowling attack as well as the presence of superb all-rounders in the arsenal.

At the IPL 2020 auction, Sunrisers turned out to be the lowest spending franchise splashing a meagre Rs 6.90 crore to buy seven players. Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh came has the highest buy.

By looking at the Sunrisers set-up, we can say that the team has almost all its bases covered, but they need an out and out speedster in their team. Billy Stanlake being part of the team, but his lack of experience on such pitches in the subcontinent could work against him.Fewplayers  could also be afforded a few more chances than they have so farsuch as  Basil Thampi and T Natarajan
